PrintControl

PrintControl is a modular image processing solution allowing parameterisation for safe monitoring and control of plain text, code and print quality for pharmaceutical, cosmetic or medical technology products. The system offers easy inspection and logging of print products such as documents, packaging, blisters, package inserts, labels or vignettes. The integrated inspection system monitors print quality and ensures that printed information is complete and correct, controlling both fixed and variable data such as expiry dates, lot and serial numbers and identifying labelling device malfunctions (e.g. for DOD inkjet systems, laser or thermal transfer printers). PrintControl guarantees traceability and guards against forgery by scanning and verifying printed individual serial numbers or code sequences and matching them against a database. Faulty packaging material is identified, traced and securely filtered out of the packaging process.

PrintControl offers data and image storage (for track & trace) and extensive statistics, documentation, logging and diagnosis functionality for process optimisation. Operation is easy and intuitive via touchscreen. User authorisations and access rights are set in line with pharmaceutical requirements to support secure and transparent production. PrintControl is based on standard software and complies with legal guidelines and regulations. Qualification documents are available upon request.
