Print Control of Carton Boxes

Variable data such as lot numbers, expiry dates, prices and individual serial numbers or code sequences is printed or embossed on pharmaceutical cartons. The PrintControl camera system reliably scans graphic characters (OCR/OCV) and codes and matches them against pre-set parameters, controlling positioning and print quality of variable data. Printer malfunctions and faulty prints are identified, traced and securely filtered out of the packaging process.

PrintControl is a modular image processing solution offering data and image storage (track & trace) and extensive statistics, documentation, logging and diagnosis functionality for process optimisation. Operation is easy and intuitive via touchscreen.

Quality assurance solutions are based on standard software, comply with legal guidelines and regulations – including requirements of FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11 – and allow for validation of all output. User authorisations and access rights are set in line with pharmaceutical requirements to support secure and transparent production. Qualification documents are available upon request.
