Print Control of Tubes

An inkjet system prints variable batch data onto tubes. A QualiVision camera system reliably inspects lot numbers and expiry dates to ensure safe production, scanning graphic characters (OCR/OCV) and comparing them against pre-set parameters, controlling data positioning and print quality. Printer malfunctions and faulty prints are identified, traced and securely filtered out of the packaging process.

PrintControl CertiVis is an image processing solution offering data and image storage and extensive statistics, documentation, logging and diagnosis functionality for process optimisation as well as ease of operation.
User authorisations and access rights are set in line with pharmaceutical requirements to support secure and transparent production.

Quality assurance solutions are based on standard software, comply with legal guidelines and regulations – including requirements of FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11 – and allow for validation of all output. Qualification documents are available upon request.
