Thanks to the changeover, Zweifel Pomy-Chips AG is well equipped for the future. Efficiency has improved significantly, as all the information required is now available with a single scan. This increases user-friendliness, simplifies stock management and reduces the risk of errors. In addition, the use of the 2D code eliminates the need for print marks to reposition the inspection. The elimination of redundant codes also saves valuable space.

Transformation

Before:

  • 3 Separate Codes
  • Different codes required for different applications

Afterwards:

  • Code 39 replaced by GS1 Datamatrix
  • 2D code contains all previously separate data
  • New cartons compatible with both 1D and 2D systems
